National Library Week is an annual event that emphasizes the importance libraries and library staff have within their communities. It highlights the focus on growing readership and the library’s vision of creating a lifelong love of reading. In celebration of this year’s National Library Week, April 7-13, the Liberty Municipal Library will be holding a fine forgiveness week.
Fine removal applies to all library materials including books, magazines, DVDs/Blu-rays, and audio books.
Library items must be returned to the library for fines to be removed. Fine forgiveness does not include costs for damaged materials or postage fees. Fines will only be forgiven for Liberty Municipal Library materials.
