Santa Party

What is a better way to honor the big man in red? Name a party after him.

Santa Claus is getting ready for the holidays and is making a special visit to all his friends at the Liberty Municipal Library on Wednesday, December 12 at 4 p.m. Santa will read Jan Brett's The Night Before Christmas and listen to Christmas wish lists.  He will be happy to pose for photos with all of his friends.

Games will include jingle bell toss, snowman slam, roll a reindeer, and pin the nose on rudolph. Fun crafts will also be provided. The Friends of the Library will serve cookies and punch. There is no cost to attend this event and everyone is invited.

While Santa is hitching up his sleigh in preparation for his upcoming trip, children are welcome to come and fill out their letters to Santa and mail them using the library's special mailbox. This whimsical red Santa letter box can be found in the children's are of the library, and coloring sheets are conveniently located nearby on which children may write their letters to Santa. The holidays are getting closer so children are encouraged to get those letters on their way to Santa soon.  The library's Santa-assigned elf will pick them up to deliver to the North Pole using the Express Elf Delivery System.  There is no charge for this special delivery service.
