Fizz, Boom, Read Summer Reading Program 2014
This year’s theme is “FIZZ, BOOM, READ!” and the library has a great lineup of entertainment and prizes for all area children.
Puppet Pizzazz
During the performance puppeteer Greg Ruhe brings puppet characters of varying sizes, dimensions, and styles to life, while sharing behind-the-scene secrets used to create and manipulate them.
ViewTom's Fun Band
The band will entertain with toe-tapping, hand clapping, wiggle-in-your-seat musical selections that will please children and adults alike.
ViewJohn O'Bryant
In his Reading Magic Show he will use magic, music, illusion, and audience participation to encourage children to read.
ViewAileen Kirkham
Aileen Kirkham, a published author and professional storyteller from Tomball. Kirkham’s character, Captain Book, warms up the audience with her lovable sheepdog puppet called Kitty, and then the fun really begins. Following the performance prize drawings will be held and refreshments will be served in the foyer.
