Build-a-Book

The Liberty Municipal Library will offer another free craft activity on Monday, April 20th at 4 p.m. in the foyer of the Geraldine D. Humphreys Cultural Center. In this activity participants will use their imagination and creative skills to make their own miniature books.

This workshop will be conducted by library volunteers Cathy Harbour and Pat Craig.  Although anyone may participate, children younger than five will need an adult with them to provide assistance.

The library will provide Scholastic Build-a-Book kits that include a 4" x 4" ten page spiral bound notebook, seven sheets of colorful paper, assorted foam shapes, and google eyes.  The library will also provide glue, markers, sequins, various stamps of super heroes, animals, etc., stamp pads, map pencils, and decorative scissors.
